Julian Fuller

Profile

Julian Fuller is a highly experienced advisor who provides management and strategic advice to a wide range of farm businesses.

Having studied at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, Julian’s early career included experience of both large scale arable and livestock enterprises.  During this period he was also involved with non-farm diversification projects including horse liveries, hang gliding, let buildings and paddock maintenance. In 1988 Julian joined the Farms Department of Savills in Cambridge. In this role he dealt with all aspects of farm management and related professional work including recruitment, redundancy and expert witness. In 1994 he moved to Bidwells where he became a partner in the Farm/Agribusiness Department. At Bidwells, Julian specialised in running contract farming agreements throughout the Eastern Region, dealing with farm business appraisals and providing strategic advice to businesses of all sizes

With over 20 years’ experience in Farm Management consultancy Julian formed Fuller Consultancy in 2006 to provide a high quality service to clients throughout East Anglia and the South East. The Company was formed with a view to helping clients to identify their objectives, plan for the requisite changes and implement the proposals. Julian’s significant experience in all aspects of contract farming and joint venture agreements enables him to offer advice and support with the setting-up, managing and reviewing of all these areas.

Detailed budgets, cash flows and costings are prepared for all types of business or enterprise.  Staff recruitment and appraisals are also a regular part of the service provided to clients.

Specialist advice is given on all aspects of the Single Farm Payment Scheme, including the Transfer of Entitlements, submitting the annual claim, checking maps and ensuring the payments are correct.

Julian is a member of the Institute of Agricultural Management, the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants, the Royal Agricultural College and the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association.  He has a keen interest in a wide range of country pursuits and is a member of the British Association for  Shooting and Conservation, the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust and the Country Alliance.

Julian is married to Lucy with a daughter Sophie and son Tom. Dogs and horses complete the family.
